Accommodation

The Dartington Hall courtyard offers 51 bedrooms, a mixture of double (many of which are able to be separated into twin beds,) twin and single rooms. The Courtyard bedrooms have a mixture of En suite, private and shared facilities.

University rooms (Foxhole and Higher Close) have shared bathroom and kitchen spaces. Higher Close is adjacent to the main conference centre whilst Foxhole is a ten minute walk.

Priority for ground floor bookings will be given to delegates requiring disabled access.

Hotel and Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available in the town of Totnes which is within easy walking distance of the College. Further details of accommodation in Totnes can be found www.totnesinformation.co.uk. However, conference delegates are encouraged to stay on the estate to experience the wealth of facilities on offer at Dartington.

* Discounted Postgraduate Fees are available to currently registered postgraduates who do not at the same time have a full-time academic or other post. Availability of discounted places is limited.

Registration & Payment of Conference Fees

When DRHA 2006 receives your email containing contact details, we shall send you an email confirming your registration.

Payment may be made by

Credit card or debit card: Card payments will be processed in UK pounds (£ sterling). Delegates should remember that their card company may levy a charge for transferring between currencies. Debit cards/Switch can only be used from a UK bank account.
OR
Cheque: DRHA 2006 can accept cheques drawn in sterling (UK pounds), US dollars, or euros only.
OR
Purchase order and invoice: Please ensure that an official purchase order, provided by your institution or business, is sent to DRHA 2006 asking for an invoice and specifying the currency as UK pounds or US dollars or euros.

All methods of payment must be received by18th August, however, cheque and card details will not be processed until after the conference.

DRHA06 Refund Policy

This policy relates to all aspects of the registration fees above. Where a cancellation in writing or by email is made a refund or credit note will be issued as per the following:

Cancellation received by 31st July: 50% refund
Cancellation received after 31st July: No Refund

Please email any cancellation to: drha2006@dartington.ac.uk or use the postal address above. These dates assume that payment has already been received by the given date.

Data Protection & Privacy Statement

Any personal information provided as part of conference registration is used for the purpose for which it has been provided. It is not passed to other organisations unless this is made explicit when the registrant supplies the information. Please inform the conference team if you do not wish your name or email address or institutional affiliation to appear in a list of participants to be distributed in delegate packs. By participants, we mean here all speakers, delegates, and sponsors.

Programme

DRHA 2006 reserves the right to amend or cancel events on the published programme. All events and speakers are correct at time of publication. The conference organisers will do their best to ensure the programme goes ahead as scheduled. Any changes will be signalled on the conference website: http://www.dartington.ac.uk/drha06 as soon as they are known.

Access and dietary requirements

Participants with any dietary requirements or access requirements (such as wheelchair access, information in alternative formats, BSL/English interpreter) should state these on the registration email.
