But you are supposed to still take your medication, including statins, along with Ateronon.. I have have been doing that for over a year now. My cholesterol level is still around 4.2 mark.

Ateronon does NOT claim to reduce cholesterol. It claims to reduce the tendency of cholesterol to cause fatty deposits in the blood vessels. Your level of cholesterol will not be reduced by taking Ateronon.

I am really confused now. My mum has vascular dementia. She was on statins and they didn't agree with her so we tried Ateronon for 3 months. Before she started her cholesterol level was 4.5 (brought down my the statns). After 3 months on only Ateronon it has gone up again to 6.5. This is contrary to what Ateronon boasts. I dont know what to do now as mum is in high risk of having a stroke and think she may have to go back on the statins.

Is Ateronon available on prescription yet and if not will it become available as a possible replacement for statins?

Yes, I much rather take a natural supplement like Ateronon, than start up on statins.

Who needs the side effects, and who want to take a drug for the rest of their natural life?

Not me!

Cheers!
